Transparently secures IM communication

At present, IM conversation, even between employees in the same office, are sent in clear text to IM services (Such as MSN, Yahoo, AOL) and then on to the message recipient. IMAegis enables secure IM conversation within same office, across geographical boundaries, with employees as well as business partners. All traffic within an enterprise running IMAegis or between two networks running the solution is secured.

IM Message Archival and Search from a central location

Enterprise product archives IM communication. Full text search and messages navigation facility is available via Web-based user interface. This consolidates and enables enterprises to unlock value in ad hoc communication. It also enables enterprises to comply with US laws that require Instant Messaging to be logged and in certain industries secured.

Provides usage analysis

IMAegis uses the information implicit in IM messaging to report on end user and customer habits. The solution visually presents habits via presence information and graph of internal as well as external contacts. This enables enterprises to better understand, plan for and target internal and external communication.

Fine Grained control over features

Admistrators can enable or disable File Transfer. Administrators can also select a subset of conversations that would be logged.

Seamless integration and rollout

IMAegis requires no desktop client installation (i.e. no effort to activate users). It also provides the ability to secure all major IM services (Yahoo, AOL, MSN). Enterprises can easily move from lab environment to full production with minimal infrastructure impact and zero end user involvement. Administration is user friendly and Web-based.
